Kyoto Product Promotion Company
In January of 1870, Kyoto Prefecture established a product promotion company, under the jurisdiction of the Bureau for Industrial Advancement. Located on Rokkaku Avenue, south of Higashi no Toin, it was renamed Product Promotion Company in July of the same year. The Nishijin Product Promotion Company, which opened in the previous year on Aburakoji Street, north of Ichijo, served as its branch office. twelve people altogether, were left in charge of the Product Promotion. took on the role of production managers.
